Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the human resources functions within the organization, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development. This is a full-time, salaried position that requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure our HR practices support our business objectives and employee needs.
Salary Range:
USD 600 – USD 900/month
Paid in Employee's Local Currency
Depending on experience and qualifications
Working Hours:
- 48 Hours per Week
- 8 AM PST – 5 PM PST
- Partial overlap between time zones may be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Oversight: Developing HR strategies, policies, and practices that support business goals.
- Employee Relations & Support: Managing employee concerns, disciplinary procedures, and fostering a supportive work culture.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Overseeing end-to-end talent acquisition and successful integration of new hires.
- Compliance & Administration: Ensuring company compliance with labor laws and managing HR records and documentation.
- Training & Development: Identifying training needs and implementing employee development initiatives.
- Lead performance management and employee evaluation processes
- Maintain HR records and prepare reports as needed
- Facilitate organizational change and employee engagement initiatives
- Support payroll and benefits administration
- Continuously assess and improve HR processes and tools
- Other Duties as Assigned: Performing additional tasks as required by the Project Director or other executive leadership to support organizational goals.
Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and HR best practices
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work partially to fully, as needed, on Pacific Standard Time
- Fluent in English
- Access to a Windows or Mac computer and a webcam for video meetings
- Installation of VPN software on the computer profile used for work
- Signing a non-disclosure agreement
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 4–6 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Experience in the lending, finance, or real estate industry
- Familiarity with remote onboarding and employee engagement strategies
